M.R. Computers was established in Alberton in 1998 with the opening of its first small retail store. After humble beginnings, with one sales person and a single technician, the store was moved to a much improved location in 2001, sporting a new look, stylish design, attractive display and improved corporate image; this upgrading was ascribable to the success of the business, its continued service excellence, competitive pricing, quality products and its increased range of products, which included stationery and consumables. Customers came from as far as the Vaal Triangle and Johannesburg North to benefit from M.R. Computers’ expertise, product offering and their enthusiasm to please their patrons. Companies of all sizes, prominent businesses, including the Alberton Town Council, counted amongst their clientèle. Clearly the company had become a force to be reckoned with.
